Our brand business together with Foodservice witnessed a particularly positive development in 2017. We posted double-digit growth for the fourth consecutive year in this segment and thus strongly outperformed the market. This positive development shows that our decision taken in 2003 – to abstain from using additives and to ensure transparency for the consumer, based on a sustainable business philosophy – is becoming increasingly relevant for an increasing number of people.This is also acknowledged by the jury of the German Sustainability Award Foundation.
